The Silai School 

The silai school was opened in April 2006. The main purpose of the school has been to train  all the girls from Mandhali and villages nearby in general sewing skills.

The sewing machines are provided by the Asthan, what the girls has to do is, attend the classes and learn.

NO fee is charged for this training. Over 250 students has completed the training so far.

Girls from Mandhali completed their training in the 1st year, and now the girls from  nearby  villages are coming to be trained in general sewing skills required for every day use in normal household.

This is the teacher who joined the school in April 2006, her name is Ranjit Kaur she  lives at Mansa and travel to Mandhali every day.
