Pumphouse Foundations and Buildings

On 7th Oct. 1998, after the padhs Veer Ji agreed to mark the location where the bore for water should be made. Here is Veer Ji's sangat walking to the location.

The location selected is about 1.5 Kilometre from the smadh building, on the other side of village next to the over flow canal. Here is  the spot, where the water bore should be made.

After marking the spot for water bore the sangat returning to the smadh.

Start of digging next to the smadh wall, for water pipes, which should extend for 1.5 km towards the bore location, passing next to village and old gurdwara.

By 12th of Oct. 1998 the water bore has been completed and the digging was almost complete for 8-inch pipes to be laid. This was all completed in 1998 and water was available at the smadh.

During July 2000 the room to house the water bore and engine was completed.

This pumphouse is fully functional and supply all the water required at the smadh. It is invaluable for the entire village including the nearest villages during the shortage of water. There is NO restrictions on who and how much water is taken away. It is free for ALL.
